Troubleshooting Surf Extension Issues

Surf
If you notice that the Surf pages or extension are not responding properly or displaying outdated information, it might be due to your browser caching old data. Caching helps speed up web browsing by storing certain data locally, but sometimes it can cause issues by retaining outdated information. To resolve this, you can perform a hard refresh to clear the cache and force your browser to load the most recent version of the page or extension.

How to Perform a Hard Refresh

On a Mac: Press Command + Shift + R simultaneously. This action will clear the cached version of the page and reload it with the latest data.

On a Windows Machine: Hold the Control key and click the “Reload” or “Refresh” button in your browser. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + F5 for the same effect.

By performing a hard refresh, you ensure that your browser retrieves the most up-to-date data, which often resolves responsiveness issues with the Surf pages or extension.
